Principal Engineer - Water Resources

Job Summary
Technical leadership of water resources consultancy projects with a focus on flood modelling (hydrologic and hydraulic) and water balance modelling, and application to Flooding and Surface Water Impact Assessments, Water quality assessments, Water Management Plans, Erosion and Sediment Control, and watercourse diversion design. Responsibilities include client relationship management, project financials, risk assessments, reviewing and improving technical documentation, and mentoring junior engineers. Lead business development activities, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Requires demonstrated leadership with 10+ years of experience in a consultancy environment; degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical engineering with CPEng preferred. Newcastle location with flexible and hybrid remote working arrangements.
