Job Summary
Principal Engineer at Veem responsible for defining and driving long-term technical architecture across payments infrastructure, AI-enabled systems, and crypto/stablecoin platforms. Lead large-scale distributed systems design, architect secure payment ecosystems, mentor senior engineers, and drive AI-native engineering practices. Collaborate with executive leadership to shape Veem’s future in fintech, blockchain, and intelligent financial systems, while orchestrating AI agents and delivering modernized workflows and developer productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 12–18 years of software engineering experience
- Proven experience operating at Staff+ / Principal Engineer level
- Strong experience building scalable distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
- Backend systems, APIs, microservices, and platform engineering
- Experience working in high-growth fintech or modern technology companies
- Strong hands-on coding and architecture capabilities
