Job Summary

Design, implement, and integrate complex real-time automotive systems focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip. Lead architecture for multi-gig Ethernet, PCIe, and LPDDR4/5 pipelines while selecting sensors and integrating ADAS systems. Optimize cost-effective solutions and apply safety mechanisms to meet ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 standards. Collaborate with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration into next-generation fail-operational systems. Represent technical topics internally and externally while negotiating with customers and suppliers. Requires US work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Required Qualifications

  • Current and ongoing authorization to work in the United States
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Demonstrated equivalent skills to a Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years deep and relevant experience in System hardware and software architecture
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in high-performance computing systems-on-chip
  • Proven track record of successful launches of automotive products
  • Expertise in System hardware and software architecture focusing on high-performance computing systems-on-chip (SoC)
  • Expertise in high-speed communication pipelines like Multi-Gig Ethernet, PCIe, LPDDR4/5
  • Expertise in sensor selection & system Integration architecture for ADAS systems
  • Proficiency in System (Hardware, Software) documentation architecture and requirements
  • Expertise in Architecture optimization to apply cost-effective solutions with improved performance design
  • Experience in implementing safety and security mechanisms to meet ISO 26262 and ISO 21434
  • Expertise in Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Fault Tree (FTA) techniques for systems and components
  • In-depth understanding of vehicle feature interactions, including Automated Driving, Infotainment, and Mechatronic Control Systems
  • Expertise in integrating, troubleshooting, and analyzing vehicle control sub-systems to deliver next-generation fail-operational systems
  • Ability to collaborate with hardware, software engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless hardware and software integration into the overall product
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate with customers and suppliers
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse, global team
  • Ability to represent technical topics internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills to all internal and external interfaces
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of configuration management, project planning, monitoring and control techniques
  • PMP certification
  • Ability to travel (domestic and international)
  • Positive attitude and self-motivation under all working conditions
  • Ability to thrive under pressure
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office package
  • Comprehensive knowledge of English

  • Understanding of needs of systems, optics, electrical, mechanical and software engineers for successful product execution
