Job Summary
Drive the design, development, and modernization of enterprise eCommerce and portal platforms, translating architectural direction into scalable, API-driven solutions. Lead complex technical design decisions for customer-facing applications, including user management, product catalogs, shopping flows, and order processing, while enforcing coding standards and secure development practices. Mentor senior engineers and partner with product, architecture, and DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, observability, and integration strategies across ERP, CRM, and identity systems. Ensure platform reliability through root cause analysis, performance tuning, and proactive monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- Significant experience in enterprise application development
- 3+ years in a staff, principal, lead, or equivalent senior technical role
- Strong hands-on experience building and supporting large-scale eCommerce, portal, or other customer-facing web applications
- Deep knowledge of modern software engineering practices and patterns
