Job Summary
Own System-Level Scope by making day-to-day architectural calls and solving cross-cutting infrastructure challenges to strengthen foundations for every pod. Elevate Engineering Craft by partnering early on solution design, setting shared quality standards, and mentoring Staff/Senior Engineers to ensure teams move fast without compromising quality. Lead Agentic AI Adoption by evaluating and integrating emerging AI capabilities across the growing product surface while ensuring safe, scalable implementation. Coordinate Strategic Migrations by leading cross-department service handovers and integrations that align engineering efforts across time zones and business units. Connect Tech to Business Strategy by representing Serko.ai Experience in executive planning and roadmapping to ensure engineering decisions support the bigger picture.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record leading major technical initiatives
- Resolving cross-team dependencies across time zones
- Making high-trust architectural decisions
- Deep technical strength in Next.js/React
- TypeScript
- Python or Node
- Sharp eye for building accessible, high-craft, customer-facing applications
- Solid understanding of AI and agentic capabilities
- Ensuring safe, scalable product adoption
- Actively using AI-assisted tools to multiply throughput
- Experience integrating shared platform services into live products
- Strengthening core developer infrastructure (CI/CD, test automation, dev environments)
- Exceptional communication skills
- History of mentoring across multiple teams
- Co-leading initiatives alongside peer Principals
- Guiding solution design without taking over team ownership
