Job Summary
Lead greenfield projects and drive innovation as the technical anchor for a highly skilled engineering team. Develop architectural decisions, make stack choices, and mentor engineers while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced scale-up environment. You will work with a JVM-focused stack using Java, Scala, or Kotlin, leveraging AWS Cloud and strong microservices expertise. This role offers an immediate opportunity to join a mission-critical, globally expanding SaaS client with expert leadership and strong funding. You will make a visible impact early in the team's growth phase, working remotely from anywhere within Ireland.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience at Principal Engineer level
- Highly skilled as a Backend Engineer
- Architect ability
- Experience in JVM languages, Java, Kotlin or Scala
- AWS Cloud experience
- Strong Microservices
- Able to work & thrive in a fast paced scale up environment
- Open to strong Lead or Senior Software Engineers who are ready to step up to a Principal Engineer job
- Living in Ireland
- Remote work from anywhere within Ireland
