Job Summary
Develop ideas, drive innovation, lead new greenfield projects, and make architectural decisions for a mission-critical SaaS platform experiencing massive global demand. Act as the technical anchor for a high-aptitude engineering team by making calls on the stack and mentoring engineers. You will work with JVM languages (Kotlin, Scala, Java), AWS Cloud, and microservices in a fast-paced, flexible environment. This role is fully remote within Ireland or the European Union, offering an excellent salary with shares and benefits. No visa sponsorship or relocation is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience at Principal Engineer level
- Highly skilled as a Backend Engineer
- Architect ability
- Experience in JVM languages, Kotlin, Scala, Java
- AWS Cloud experience
- Strong Microservices
- Ability to work & thrive in a fast paced scale up environment
- Architect experience
- Technically flexible and able to go with change
