Job Summary
Lead design and architecture of distributed, scalable, secure full-stack cloud services that process petabytes of data weekly; influence execution across engineering; define and drive enterprise technical standards and platform strategy; lead AI-assisted and agentic development practices; mentor teams and collaborate with senior stakeholders to align technical vision with business goals; stay hands-on in code, architecture, and on-call responsibilities while delivering real-time, large-scale data processing and streaming workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience designing, building and operating complex cloud-native distributed systems
- Experience defining organization-wide technical standards
- Deep involvement in security, compliance, and reliability strategy
- Strong grounding in reliability, performance, security, and observability for systems with strict SLOs
- Experience with durable workflow/orchestration engines (e.g., Temporal) and event-driven architectures
- Hands-on experience with container-based compute (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Proven ability to influence at senior/executive levels
- Demonstrated leadership in adopting AI-assisted engineering workflows
