Job Summary
Principal Quality Engineer / Sr. Principal Quality Engineer to develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems; collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to ensure quality standards; design and analyze inspection/testing processes; perform QA tests and statistical analysis to identify nonconformances; support CAB data gathering and corrective actions; ensure contractual quality requirements are flowed down and compliance with documentation; audity quality systems for deficiencies; may specialize in design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability; prefer LEAN/Six Sigma experience and IPC/J-STD 001 familiarity; role can be filled at Principal or Sr Principal level; requires STEM degree with applicable years of experience and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in STEM with 5 years of relevant experience in Quality, Engineering and/or Manufacturing; Master’s Degree in STEM with 3 years of relevant experience; QMS experience (ISO 9000, ISO 9001, AS 9100, and/or IATF 16949); Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.
