Job Summary
Lead the design, development, and delivery of public health and fire protection systems for complex commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects in the UAE. Oversee engineering drawings, calculations, and technical specifications while managing multidisciplinary teams through mentorship and quality control. Conduct site inspections, supervise installation, testing, and commissioning, and ensure compliance with UAE building codes, Civil Defense regulations, and international standards. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and clients to integrate solutions, advise on sustainable technologies, and lead troubleshooting during construction and post-occupancy phases. Participate in tendering, contract negotiations, and technical presentations. Requires 10–15 years of experience with deep knowledge of local codes and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field
- 10–15 years of experience in public health and fire protection engineering for building services
- significant experience in the UAE
- Deep knowledge of UAE codes, Civil Defense regulations, and international standards (NFPA, BS, IPC, etc.)
- Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), and hydraulic calculation tools
- Proven leadership and project management skills on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication, client-facing, and negotiation skills
