Job Summary
Principal Engineer for Fab Engineering leading semiconductor manufacturing process improvements. Owns process performance, drives yield/quality/cycle-time enhancements, troubleshoots issues with structured methodologies (root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, 8D), analyzes process data to identify trends and improvement opportunities, defines and adjusts process parameters across equipment, collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve excursions, supports qualification and integration of new equipment/materials/process changes, and drives initiatives focused on yield improvement, cost reduction, and productivity. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing/process engineering; preferred Master’s/PhD and region-specific experience in advanced semiconductor processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or process engineering
- Experience resolving manufacturing process issues using root cause analysis
- Working knowledge of statistical and process control systems (SPC, FDC, APC, or similar)
