Job Summary
As a Principal Engineer in Toyota's Cybersecurity Department, you will lead the design and implementation of advanced security architectures for OT environments, safeguarding manufacturing operations and ensuring compliance with security standards. Your expertise in industrial cybersecurity will be critical in building robust security solutions that enhance operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field
- 5+ years of experience securing industrial or manufacturing environments
- Deep knowledge of SCADA systems, PLCs, and OT cybersecurity challenges
- Hands-on experience with core IT skills like networking, firewalls, systems administration, and enterprise architecture
- Familiarity with key security frameworks (IEC 62443, ISA-95/Purdue model, NIST CSF, NERC CIP)
- Proven ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses
- Technical proficiency with industrial cybersecurity tools (ICS firewalls, intrusion detection systems, secure remote access solutions)
- Excellent communication skills

- Relevant certifications like CISSP or GICSP
- 7+ years of experience in industrial cybersecurity environments
