Job Summary
Join Toyota's OneTech Manufacturing Tech Services as an OpCenter UI/UX Engineer (Mendix) to design and implement intuitive, responsive interfaces for Siemens OpCenter MES. This mid-level role blends UI/UX design with front-end development on Mendix, HTML/CSS/JS, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders in manufacturing. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or related field
- 3+ years of UI/UX design and front-end development experience
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Experience with Mendix low-code development or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of usability principles and accessibility standards
- Ability to translate wireframes and business requirements into functional UI components
- Experience with responsive design for desktop and touch-screen devices
- Experience integrating front-end components with back-end services and APIs
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Siemens OpCenter or other MES/MOM platforms (bonus)
- Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and shop floor operations (bonus)
- Experience with Mendix low-code development (or similar platforms)
- Automotive or battery manufacturing environment experience (bonus)
- Strong visual design skills and attention to detail
- Ability to balance usability, performance, and technical constraints
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
