Job Summary
Develop new and maintain existing manufacturing processes with a focus on affordability, while optimizing process monitoring for yields, cost, and stability. Work in cross-functional teams to develop data applications, specify new equipment for production readiness, and develop process parameters. Assist the floor in troubleshooting technical issues, resolving equipment vendor problems, and validating automatic equipment programs. Support factory maintenance personnel, train new personnel, and recommend quality improvements based on process metrics. Document state-of-the-art process guidelines and participate in design producibility reviews for advanced microelectronics products.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related STEM degree
- 5+ years of related experience
- Master's degree in Engineering or related STEM area
- 3+ years of experience with a Master's degree
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma
- Experience working with microelectronics technology and materials
- Experience with soldering, connections, building microelectronics and computers
- Familiarity with J-STD and MIL-STD requirements
- Familiarity with Space Class hardware requirements
