Job Summary
Design, develop, and build new cloud-native services while shaping software design and engineering culture. Create and enhance major software products, acting as the go-to advisor for the high-calibre engineering team. Lead technology change in organizations by collaborating with the Engineering Director to champion new projects and influence SaaS service direction. Requires Java expertise at Principal or Architect level, including Spring Cloud, J2EE, and CI/CD deployment on major cloud services, alongside knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular. Based in Dublin with a hybrid working environment.
Required Qualifications
- highly experienced with Java at either Principal or Architect level
- proven Cloud experience
- Strong software engineering experience using Java
- Lead, Principal Engineer or Architect level
- be hands-on
- CI/CD Deployment with any major Cloud service
- Severless experience
- J2EE
- Spring including Spring Cloud
- Knowledge of Javascipt, Typescript. Angular
- Strong project experience including leading technology change in organisations
