Job Summary
Toyota TBMNC is seeking a Principal Engineer - HEV Testing Engineer to lead Siemens OpCenter MES testing, define testing strategy, and manage a small team to ensure quality across manufacturing, quality, logistics, and production control during plant launches. Candidates should have 4+ years of MES/MOM testing experience with strong Siemens OpCenter expertise and a proven track record leading testing efforts for complex enterprise systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
- 4+ years of software testing experience with at least 2 years in MES/MOM environments
- Strong knowledge of Siemens OpCenter (Discrete preferred) or similar MES platforms
- Proven ability to lead testing efforts for complex, integrated enterprise systems
- Experience with SQL and validating data flows between MES and connected systems
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
- ISTQB or similar software testing certification
- Leadership abilities to guide testing teams in a high-pressure plant launch environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Tosca) for regression testing
