Job Summary
Prepare and present program/product status to leadership and external customers while developing customer relationships and new business within the market. Lead the execution of strategies to improve organizational competitiveness through professional growth, strategic hiring, partnering, and acquisitions. Manage people leading department or cross-functional program teams in a matrix organization to achieve schedule, cost, and technical performance objectives. Develop roadmaps, budgets, and deliverables, identifying market changes to adjust costs, prices, or features. Interface with customers on technical matters and communicate issues, impacts, and corrective actions to internal and external representatives. Demonstrate leadership of programs with significant delivery or technical risk, utilizing data analysis to track progress against baseline plans.
Required Qualifications
- Tremendous knowledge of products and technologies including current and potential applications
- Knowledge of target customer markets
- Ability to identify partnership candidates best suited to fill product gaps
- Demonstrated leadership of a program with significant delivery or technical risk
- Ability to track work accomplished to baseline plans and identify issues, track progress, and follow through on effective corrective actions based on data analysis and trends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead teams in matrix organization to achieve schedule, cost, and technical performance objectives
- Tremendous knowledge of government contracting practices and regulations regarding acquisition
- Ability to develop and execute proposal plans and strategies
- May be required to travel
