Job Summary
Establish and apply UL Solutions product safety certification requirements for initiating and indicating devices, including gas detectors, carbon monoxide alarms, and refrigerants. Drive consistency, integrity, and engineering quality across global offices and affiliates by performing duties as a Principal Engineer and Qualified Certification Reviewer for assigned fire suppression standards. Leverage working knowledge of detection and alarm products, standard development processes, and hazard-based safety engineering to ensure compliance. Requires hybrid schedule with three days per week onsite in Northbrook, IL.
