Principal Engineer

Certify engineering work to ensure conformance with established programs and objectives while providing technical support for Production, Field, Sales, Estimating, and Project Management. Review, sign, and seal drawings, calculations, and other documents as required, actively checking engineering designs to eliminate errors. Maintain design standards by reviewing updated building codes upon release and updating documentation accordingly. Attend rollout meetings on new projects and assist in rating information for structural drawings as part of the RID process. Collaborate with the Chief Engineer and Engineering Standards Manager to develop training guidelines and documentation on engineering standards. Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, minimum 10 years progressive experience in structural design, and professional registration.
