Job Summary
Senior Power Electronics Engineer role based in Shenzhen, focusing on design and development of power electronics products (inverters, converters, charging modules, power management). Lead topology design, magnetic component selection, and thermal design to ensure performance and reliability. Plan and conduct electrical performance, safety, and EMI tests; drive prototype validation and debugging. Collaborate with global R&D, suppliers, and manufacturing to support lifecycle from R&D to mass production. Ensure designs comply with IEC, UL, GB standards; stay abreast of industry trends and new components. Provide technical coaching to junior engineers and contribute to IP development (patents). Requirements include a Master’s degree or higher, 5+ years in power electronics, knowledge of Buck/Boost/LLC/Full-Bridge/Three-Level topologies, magnetic design and thermal simulation, power devices (IGBT, SiC, GaN), and strong English communication.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or above in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics product development
- Solid knowledge of common power electronics topologies (e.g., Buck/Boost, LLC, Full-Bridge, Three-Level)
- Skilled in magnetic component design and thermal simulation
- Proficient in applying and driving power devices (IGBT, SiC, GaN)
- Strong English communication skills, capable of working effectively with overseas R&D teams
