Principal Engineer, Electrical

Develop and implement robust design standards, templates, and best practices for PV and BESS electrical engineering efforts. Recruit, mentor, and manage the electrical design team to ensure deliverables meet client and regulatory requirements while maintaining constructability and budget alignment. Oversee all electrical engineering activities, including reviewing designs and acting as Engineer of Record for multiple projects simultaneously. Champion innovation in design tools and processes while maintaining knowledge of industry codes like NEC, ANSI, and IEEE. Interface with clients and stakeholders to optimize project design and support operations through RFI resolution and technical evaluations of design changes. Collaborate with civil, structural, and high voltage disciplines to ensure seamless integration of engineering packages.
