Principal Engineer, Electrical

Develop, implement, and continuously improve robust design standards, templates, and best practices for PV and BESS electrical engineering efforts. Recruit, mentor, and manage the electrical design team while overseeing all engineering activities to ensure deliverables meet client, regulatory, quality, and budget requirements. Review and act as Engineer of Record for project designs and studies, championing innovation in design tools and plant technology. Interface with clients and stakeholders to optimize project design and value, supporting operations through RFI resolution and field change management. Collaborate with civil, structural, and high voltage disciplines to ensure seamless integration of design packages. Maintain current knowledge of industry codes and standards to incorporate them into design processes.
