Job Summary
Design and develop DC power distribution architectures for data center environments, translating complex customer specifications into clear technical requirements and project objectives. Create technical layouts and presentations for customers and executive leadership while analyzing power needs to optimize solutions for efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on power infrastructure projects to promote One Vertiv solutions, evaluate emerging technologies based on market research, and ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations such as IEEE, NFPA, and UL. Requires 7+ years of experience in power systems design and expert knowledge of DC architectures. Join a team focused on next-generation power solutions with 10% travel requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 7+ years of experience in power systems design, preferably in data center environments
- Expert knowledge of DC power distribution systems and architectures
- Strong understanding of power electronics and conversion technologies
- Familiarity with industry standards (IEEE, NFPA, UL, NEC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management and communication abilities
- 10% including internationally
