Job Summary
Design and implement scalable, production-grade data architecture for Tesorio's cash flow performance platform, managing schema design, storage technologies, and debugging data problems across multi-tenant SaaS systems. Own the company's data architecture while collaborating with Engineering Leadership to solve technical challenges, set technical direction, and provide mentorship across the organization. Anticipate scaling challenges and build reliable solutions leveraging cloud platforms like AWS, Python, and Django. This role requires 10+ years of experience leading data architecture at startups, with a focus on building magical products that serve over $30 billion in annual transactions.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a software engineer
- Prior experience as a Staff Software Engineer or a more senior engineering role
- Expert at data architecture
- Experience working on large multi-tenant SaaS systems
- Expertise working on cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and building large-scale data architectures leveraging their technologies
