Job Summary
Lead and scale the consolidation and modernization of the compute infrastructure, focusing on large stateful workloads and GPU-heavy AI workloads. Responsibilities include designing and building around Kubernetes, addressing scaling limitations, and optimizing workload management. You will work with various teams to create migration paths, enhance platform utilization, and develop a multi-cloud abstraction layer. Requires a strong background in distributed systems, Kubernetes, and collaboration across technical and operational teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of relevant industry experience with large scale, production distributed systems.
- 5+ years of experience with Kubernetes in production.
- Experience working across SWE and SRE or Production Engineering teams to deliver robust production systems.
- Ability to work with cross-functional partners across multiple organizations.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with running distributed data systems and migrating them to Kubernetes is highly preferred.
- Passion automation, reducing toil, and building proper tooling for getting the job done.
