Job Summary
Lead the completions engineering function for oil/gas wells in the Houston area. Responsible for designing, planning, and executing completion designs, surveillance, and evaluations; develop innovative, cost-effective completion solutions to maximize productivity; perform frac modeling and post-treatment analysis; prepare procedures for vertical and horizontal wells; coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to optimize asset development; ensure safety and compliance; travel as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 10+ years of completions experience, and a valid driver’s license. Advanced knowledge of completions fundamentals, offshore well servicing techniques, and familiarity with CO2 EOR/carbon sequestration concepts is highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required
- 10+ years of experience in Completions Engineering
- Knowledge of completion engineering fundamentals and offshore well servicing techniques
- Experience with hydraulic fracturing, well intervention, tubing design, surface and subsurface completion equipment selection, completion fluids, and perforating systems
- Proven ability to design, plan, and execute completion designs for vertical and horizontal wells
- Valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory for travel
- Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and manage projects
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours
