Job Summary
Principal Engineer focusing on Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) leads development, optimization, and sustaining CMP processes for CMP module within NPI programs; owns process formulations, tool controls, SOPs, FMEA, and SPC, drives cross-functional collaboration to resolve integration issues, establishes risk mitigation and yield improvement plans, leads recipe creation for CMP metrology tools, mentors junior engineers, and contributes to IP through patents while coordinating with vendors and internal teams for benchmarking and knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
- ≥7 years CMP experience
- strong NPI/technology transfer track record
- deep expertise in process integration, yield improvement, and RCA/8D
- leadership in cross-functional programs
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical/Materials Science Engineering or related field
