Job Summary
Principal Engineer role based in Bangalore, focused on technically hands-on leadership to design and deliver scalable architectures and high-performance software. The incumbent will apply 8+ years of software engineering and product delivery experience, with strong command of data structures and algorithms and object-oriented programming (Java preferred). Responsibilities include translating company goals into technical solutions with KPIs, driving productivity and scalability, enabling teams, representing engineering in conferences, and shaping engineering culture while ensuring depth and breadth across software domains. The candidate should have knowledge of distributed technologies, real-time systems with high throughput and low latency, and experience with high-performance applications, in addition to exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
Required Qualifications
- Technically hands-on, prior experience with scalable Architecture
- 8+ years of software engineering and product delivery experience
- Excellent command over Data Structures & Algorithms
- Exceptional coding skills in an Object-Oriented Programming language (Java Preferred)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of distributed technologies, real-time systems of high throughput, low latency, and highly scalable systems
- Experience with high-performance applications
- Ability to translate company goals into technical solutions with KPIs
- Internal communication responsibilities of a principal engineer
- Ability to drive productivity and scalability across the team
