Job Summary
This position seeks an experienced and strategic Principal Electrical Asset Management Engineer to drive asset management goals for the Eversource electric transmission system. The role involves technical leadership in developing and evaluating asset health, project prioritization, and lifecycle investment strategies. Responsibilities include leading asset strategy development, capital budget planning, risk assessment, cross-functional leadership, and supporting regulatory compliance. Candidates should have extensive experience in electrical utility engineering and asset management, along with strong data analytics skills.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in engineering required; electrical engineering strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience in electrical utility engineering, with 5+ years in asset management or lifecycle planning
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related engineering field preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of electric transmission and distribution systems
- Strong understanding of industry regulations, reliability standards, and risk modeling methodologies
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and asset management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
