Job Summary
Senior Principal Engineer, Application Engineering focused on customer-facing technical support for GlobalFoundries’ mainstream, RF, and advanced node platforms. Responsible for solving complex mixed-signal analog design issues during design flows, delivering customized technical presentations and proposals, driving design-win/tape-out goals, and providing feedback to internal teams. Collaborates with product marketing, design solutions, and technology development to ensure seamless post-design support and first-time silicon success. Requires Master’s in ECE with 3-4 years of hands-on analog design experience, Cadence Spectre/ADE proficiency, Unix/Linux and scripting knowledge, strong communication, and project-management skills. Open to candidates from Korea, with Seoul-based office being the focal location.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (ECE)
- minimum 3-4 years hands-on analog circuit design experience
- hands-on experience with Cadence Spectre, ADE
- familiar with front-to-back analog mixed-signal design verification flow
- ability to run and debug DC/AC/Transient analyses, Monte Carlo, noise, stability, harmonic simulations
- Unix/Linux experience; knowledge of Ocean or related tools is a plus
- strong documentation skills; fluent in English
