Principal Engineer, Amplifier Platforms

Job Summary
Lead technical ownership and integration activities for amplifier software platforms in China, acting as the primary interface between global product, project, and customer teams. Drive technical alignment, issue resolution, and platform integration while coordinating software requirement management, configuration, change requests, and quality assurance. Identify and prioritize project activities, create design documentation, and set feature rollout plans to track development targets. Guide R&D engineers, lead code reviews, and support SW/HW qualification and integration of DSP algorithms. Monitor project processes for cost, schedule, and quality, and provide technical assessments for RFQ activities. Work 5% of the time with travel and based in the R&D Center in Suzhou.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE or BSCE with a focus on Embedded Systems, DSP, or related fields
- Preferably MSEE or MSCE with a focus on Embedded Systems, DSP, or related fields
- Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive embedded software development, including DSP and MCU-based systems
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in the automotive industry
- 4+ years of embedded software development experience
- 4+ years of software project management experience
- Solid knowledge and extensive programming experience with C/C++
- Strong analytic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently as well as an integrated team member
- Very good English verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel 5% of the time
- Be willing to work in the R&D Center in Suzhou
Desired Qualifications
- Bonus Points if You Have Experience with acoustics and system design
- Experience in the audio industry and familiarity with audio performance testing
- Knowledge and experience with DSP, MCU, CAN, UDS, AUTOSAR, and Embedded OS
