Job Summary
Lead cybersecurity engineering for embedded DoD programs. Define cybersecurity requirements, perform allocation and decomposition, and guide architecture discussions. Collaborate with systems engineers and developers to integrate cybersecurity considerations into system design. Lead cybersecurity-focused verification and validation, including writing test plans and procedures, performing analyses, and providing remediation recommendations. Own and generate cybersecurity documentation such as the Risk Management Framework System Security Plan, Risk Assessment Report, and Plan of Actions and Milestones. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert within the Product Cybersecurity Engineering team, champion awareness of evolving threats and industry best practices, and mentor through collaboration and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable SECRET U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship required
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Experience in system requirement definition, allocation, and decomposition; preferably with embedded systems
- Experience in generating Verification Items (VIs) and determining formal verification methods for allocated requirements
- Direct experience with requirement management tools (DOORS, JIRA, CONFLUENCE); MBSE tools (JAMA, CAMEO)
- Qualifications We Prefer: Active and transferable TOP SECRET clearance; familiarity with RMF, embedded cryptography; NSA cryptographic certification; Program Protection Plan/Implementation Plan; cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP)
- Experience with Cybersecurity, RMF, and embedded cryptography
- Self-starter requiring limited direction and minimal supervision
- Onsite role in Marlborough, MA (US-based) and relocation assistance available
