Job Summary
Principal Electrical Engineer leading system-level design for sensor platforms, owning electrical architecture, prototypes bring-up, validation, and cross-functional leadership across EE, firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing. Drive architectural tradeoffs and technical direction, define system architectures across power, signal integrity, interfaces, grounding, and integration, and act as the final technical authority for critical design decisions and reviews. Hands-on in schematic/layout design, prototype bring-up, debugging, and validation, with emphasis on turning ambiguous constraints into robust, production-ready designs. Collaborate with leadership to balance near-term execution with long-term technology direction and mentor engineers to raise technical rigor.
Required Qualifications
- Deep experience in highspeed digital, analog, mixed signal, and system level design
- Proven ability to own and deliver system architecture, not just components
- Hands-on experience taking products from concept through certification and production
- Strong background in tradeoff analysis across performance, cost, risk, and schedule
- Demonstrated success debugging complex, cross disciplinary system issues
- Comfort operating as a technical authority and influencing without formal management responsibility
