Principal Electrical Engineer

Job Summary
Design electrical systems for buildings, including lighting, emergency lighting, power distribution (up to 1kV), fire detection, security and CCTV systems. Produce engineering designs and documentation using calculations, 3D/BIM modelling, diagrams and detailed execution drawings. Plan and deliver electrical project scope, including budgets, resources, schedules and coordination with other disciplines. Ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, applicable codes, safety, sustainability and energy efficiency regulations. Participate in design and client meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement and mentoring of junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Low Voltage / Building Services) with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in building electrical design
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical standards, regulations and electrical systems (power, lighting, grounding, lightning protection)
- Experience with these sectors: Datacenters, Industrial, Semiconductors, Healthcare, Cleanrooms, Retail, Office, Residential
- Proficiency in design and calculation software (e.g. AutoCAD and relevant calculation tools); BIM/Revit knowledge is an advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with a clear technical and quality focus
- Good to advanced English communication skills, eagerness to learn, and motivation to grow professionally and mentor junior engineers
