Job Summary

Design and develop novel flight systems, including schematic capture, electrical simulation, and system architecture for hypersonic applications. Generate electrical interface control documents and manage third-party contractors and vendors. Lead engineering for EMI/EMC/ESD compliance and oversee subsystem testing plans. This role requires a Principal Electrical Engineer with active Secret clearance and experience in flight systems, missiles, and hypersonic technology. The position offers a 9/80 schedule with competitive relocation assistance and a salary range of $98,400 to $147,600. Located in Roy, UT, this opportunity is contingent upon contract award.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 Years experience with Bachelors in Science
  • 3 Years with Masters
  • 1 Year with PhD
  • Active or current Secret clearance at time of application
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time
  • Electrical design experience for hypersonic systems, flight systems, missiles, etc.
  • Functional block diagram
  • Visio
  • Schematic capture

  • PSPICE electrical simulation
  • Electrical requirements development, assisting system engineer
  • Electrical analysis for compliance with requirements
  • Electrical interface control document generation
  • Electrical system architecture design, including grounding, power distribution, communication busses and discrete signaling
