Job Summary
Conduct regular and ad-hoc on-site audits of construction activities to identify technical and operational risk factors based on site-specific characteristics. Produce comprehensive audit reports to clearly articulate identified risks and impact to leadership. Build and maintain a robust compliance monitoring system for construction safety across all sites, while tracking construction safety KPIs and leading remediation efforts for escalated risks. Collaborate directly with project managers, general contractors, and engineering teams to implement innovative, best-practice solutions for identified compliance gaps. Ensure timely communication and operational alignment with internal stakeholders regarding applicable local construction safety laws, regulations, and technical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or related engineering fields
- Approximately 8–10+ years of dedicated work experience in construction safety management, EHS compliance, or site safety auditing for large-scale engineering/facility projects
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English (capable of producing professional technical/audit reports in both languages)
- Professional certifications in Construction Safety or Industrial Safety (e.g., Professional Industrial Safety Engineer / 甲級職業安全管理師/衛級證照, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or equivalent national engineering licenses)
- Multi-disciplinary inspection capabilities, including knowledge in industrial safety, structural fire protection, and heavy equipment/scaffolding safety standards
- Proficient in data management tools (e.g., MS Office Suite, Excel) for KPI analytics and risk dashboard presentation
