Job Summary
Chief school administrator responsible for developing and implementing policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets to promote student educational development and the professional development of staff; supervises all school personnel; plans annual objectives and interprets the school program to the community; fosters staff growth, coordinates curriculum objectives, and ensures organizational efficiency; maintains communications with students, staff, parents, and central office; manages supplies and equipment and provides support to school services.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an approved program in school administration at the master's level
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a classroom teacher or equivalent
- Must possess a license in school administration as a Principal from the State of North Carolina
- Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license
