Job Summary
Lead system architecture, integration, and technical strategy across multiple product platforms and development programs. Own and govern Design Input Requirements (DIR), translating consumer insights into robust system specifications. Drive system-level trade-off decisions balancing performance, quality, reliability, cost, schedule, and manufacturability from concept through commercialization. Serve as the lead system architect from PoC through production readiness, ensuring delivery of engineering milestones. Partner with Product Line Leaders, Program Managers, Operations, Quality, and EMS partners to execute successful NPI/NPD programs. Lead technical risk assessments, architecture reviews, root cause investigations, and product improvement initiatives. Act as the senior technical escalation point for platform issues and post-launch engineering support. Influence future technology roadmaps and platform strategies within Philip Morris Electronics Shenzhen.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related disciplines
- Extensive experience in system-level product development within consumer electronics, IoT, or connected device environments
- Proven experience leading system architecture and integration activities for complex NPI/NPD programs
- Strong understanding of systems engineering, requirements management, product lifecycle development, and system verification
- Demonstrated ability to influence technical decisions across cross-functional and global teams
- Experience working with OEM/ODM/EMS manufacturing partners
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
