Job Summary

Lead a portfolio of digitization and AI projects that are secure, compliant, and scalable in a regulated manufacturing environment. Facilitate engagement and tech discovery workshops to document problems, inventory data sources, and tag compliance needs. Partner with idea owners to firm up opportunity briefs, process maps, and KPI trees, then collaborate to prepare gate packages and recommend prioritization based on strategic alignment. Write user stories, coordinate SMEs, and plan UAT to ensure change readiness. Orchestrate handovers to Product Owners, maintain data repositories, and mentor team members on coding practices and continuous improvement. Manage project planning, milestone delivery, and status updates while influencing cross-organizational stakeholders without formal authority.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to foster strategic relationships
  • Familiarity with modern data and AI tools and how they move from experiment to production
  • Understanding of AI risk, privacy, and documentation needs in regulated settings
  • Experience turning AI ideas into measurable business outcomes
  • Demonstrated business acumen and data-driven approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrated delivery of projects, risk management and cultivating a collaborative problem-solving culture
  • Demonstrated project and process delivery skills, including the ability to provide accurate project planning, milestone delivery, project management, and effective status updates
  • Tech-Savvy, proficiency with key coding languages such as Python and Java
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills, effectively engaging, facilitating, with the ability to influence and collaborate with others
  • Focused on operational income, productivity, efficiency, simplification, right first time in project delivery
  • Ability to influence across the organization without formal authority
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, perform complex tasks, organize and complete workload consistently
  • Ability to identify, recommend and implement opportunities for streamlining team and business processes to reduce costs and improve efficiencies
  • Experience prolonged standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching
  • Use hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment
  • Minimal travel required for this role; travel between manufacturing buildings in College Station required to perform project duties

Desired Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing continuous improvement initiatives in a cGMP facility or highly regulated environment
  • Experience in technology and product delivery in a CDMO environment
  • Experience working in a biologics or gene therapy manufacturing facility
