Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines and deployment frameworks while administering and optimizing the organization's DevOps toolchain. Develop automation solutions and reusable frameworks to improve operational efficiency, and integrate code quality, security scanning, and compliance controls into workflows. Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and QA teams to streamline software delivery, troubleshoot platform-related issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role supports the Advice Wealth Management applications team on a 24x7 basis within Ameriprise India LLP's global technology organization. Full-time employment with India Business Unit AWMPO.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related disciplines
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, JFrog Xray, Jira, and Confluence
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD solutions and deployment automation frameworks
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, PowerShell, and Bash
- Proven experience with source control management, branching strategies, repository administration, and release management processes
- Strong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles, CI/CD architecture, software delivery lifecycle (SDLC), artifact management, security and vulnerability management, platform governance, and compliance controls
- Experience integrating quality gates, security scanning, and compliance requirements into automated deployment pipelines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale DevOps platforms in regulated environments, preferably within financial services
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, governance, security, and risk management practices
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
