Job Summary
Lead end-to-end design for complex fintech initiatives spanning discovery through delivery, creating high-fidelity visuals, interaction models, and rapid prototypes. Influence product strategy by translating customer research into intuitive experiences while partnering with Product and Engineering leaders to balance needs, priorities, and feasibility. Champion design excellence by evolving design systems, accessibility standards, and visual quality across the organization through hands-on mentorship and craft leadership. Explore and apply AI-enabled experiences and intelligent automation to create human-centered, trusted customer experiences. Work in a hybrid model from the Sydney office, collaborating across squads to solve complex challenges and shape the future of Agentic Commerce.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience leading complex design initiatives for customer facing digital products within fintech, payments, technology or other high scale, customer centred organisations
- Deep expertise across product, interaction and visual design, including scalable design systems, accessibility, motion design and exceptional visual craft
- A player coach mindset with a passion for shaping product strategy while remaining hands on in the tools, mentoring designers and raising design standards through leading by example
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence Product, Engineering and business leaders across multiple disciplines
- Curiosity and hands on experience exploring AI enabled experiences, intelligent automation and emerging interaction models, with an adaptable mindset that embraces new tools and continuous learning
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to simplify complexity into intuitive, human centred customer experiences
- A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow
- An aptitude for identifying and managing risks
