Job Summary
Develop the architecture for a functional verification environment, including reference models, bus-functional monitors, and drivers. Write verification test plans using random techniques and coverage analysis, then develop and tune tests to achieve coverage goals. Debug failures and resolve issues by working directly with designers. Verify boot code and architect tools to streamline the design of state-of-the-art multi-core SoCs. Transform engineering requirements into scalable software tools for highly parallel compute environments, conducting unit and regression testing. This role supports the Design Verification Team's mission to ensure chips meet customer specifications across enterprise, cloud, AI, and automotive architectures.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- 10-12 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with System Verilog
- Experience with UVM
- Experience with writing a detailed test plan
- Experience with building a sophisticated, directed, random-verification environment
- Experience with scripting language such as Python or Perl
- Experience with EDA Verification tools
- Experience with Object-Oriented Design
- Experience with Object-Oriented implementation
- Good understanding of Linux O.S.
- Experience verifying complex security-sensitive SoCs
- Understanding of secure hardware architecture concepts
- Understanding of Root of Trust
- Understanding of Secure boot
- Understanding of Secure debug
- Diligent, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative and handle assignments with minimal supervision
- Requires the ability to accept and work with differing opinions
- Cannot be a close-minded developer
- Must be able to learn on the fly and work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Good programming skills desired, especially C++ and ARM assembly
