Job Summary
Lead the design and construction of municipal water, wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and stormwater systems from planning through construction. Manage project overall delivery to ensure successful execution on time and within budget while overseeing multidisciplinary teams and supervising technical staff. Prepare and oversee complete engineering deliverables, perform complex engineering analyses, and maintain Arcadis standards for regional projects. Support business development efforts, cultivate client relationships, and participate in industry associations and leadership activities. Requires 15+ years of experience, a California Professional Engineer license, and a Bachelor's degree. Salary range $170,000 - $230,000/year.
Required Qualifications
- 15 or more years' experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or a related field of study
- Licensed Professional Engineer in California
- strong staff development and supervision skills
- ability to mentor and support junior-level engineers and technical staff
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to clearly and effectively convey complex technical information to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
- proven client relationship and business development experience

Desired Qualifications
- 20 or more years of progressively responsible experience in the water and wastewater industry
- Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- proven ability to prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
- Active involvement in local, state, or national professional organizations and industry associations
