Job Summary
Lead DeltaV engineering standards, design philosophies, and complex solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and regulated manufacturing facilities. Architect greenfield systems, brownfield modernization, and legacy DCS migrations while providing advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance. Establish reusable engineering libraries, templates, and best practices to drive innovation and support proposal development. Mentor early and mid-career engineers, deliver technical training, and collaborate with executive leadership to grow the DeltaV business across North America. Serve as the recognized subject matter expert for Emerson DeltaV systems, influencing technical strategy and delivering projects from concept through startup support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of hands-on Emerson DeltaV experience
- Demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and commissioning DeltaV systems
- Proven ability to architect complex DeltaV solutions from concept through startup
- Experience serving as a technical lead, SME, or principal engineer
- Strong knowledge of DeltaV Control Studio
- Strong knowledge of DeltaV Operate
- Strong knowledge of DeltaV Diagnostics
- Strong knowledge of DeltaV Continuous Historian
- Strong knowledge of DeltaV Live
- Strong knowledge of DeltaV Batch
- Strong knowledge of DeltaV System Architecture
- Strong knowledge of ISA-88 Batch Methodology
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DeltaV PK Controller
- Experience with DeltaV SIS
- Experience with Syncade
- Experience with Virtualized DeltaV Environments
- Experience with Electronic Marshalling / CHARMS
- Experience with M-Series and S-Series Controllers
- Experience with Ethernet I/O Card (EIOC)
- Expertise in GMP-regulated industries
- Experience supporting validation and CSV activities
- Previous experience with Emerson Automation Solutions, an Emerson Impact Partner, or a DeltaV-focused systems integrator
