Job Summary
Lead and manage the on-site implementation and quality assurance of building management, PLC, and SCADA controls for data-center projects. Drive standardization, ensure design-to-turnover system integrity, oversee system integrators and contractors, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver safe, reliable controls that meet stringent standards. Key duties include vendor calibrations and witness testing, BMS/SCADA inspections, commissioning support, risk mitigation, issue management, and collaboration with Construction Managers and General Contractors to maintain schedules and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in instrumentation and controls programming/installation, general contractor MEP coordination/project management, and commissioning (mechanical and electrical) of data centers or other large-scale mission-critical buildings.
- 3+ years of experience with programming/designing HVAC control systems and electrical power monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent) or relevant work experience.
- Experience with industrial automation and building management control systems (PLC/DDC).
- Certifications: cGMP, CAP (Certified Automation Professional), PMP (Project Management Professional).
- Experience with Rockwell and Inductive Automation Ignition platforms.
