Job Summary
Lead the design and deployment of advanced machine learning and AI solutions within Wasl’s Analytics function. Shape the technical direction of data science initiatives, mentor other data scientists, and ensure data products are scalable, robust, and production-ready. Translate strategic objectives into actionable analytical frameworks for senior stakeholders, drive cross-functional collaboration to integrate data products into business processes, and advocate for strong data governance and reliability. Build and deploy data products that deliver stakeholder value, develop KPI-driven insights, and continuously improve methodologies and tooling to enhance performance, scalability, and decision-making across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in applied machine learning and data product delivery
- Demonstrated success leading complex data science initiatives across multiple business areas
- Proven experience mentoring or technically leading teams
- Experience with Jira and agile methodologies
