Job Summary
Shape strategic direction for advanced analytics across the organization, delivering critical insights, actionable recommendations, and production-ready systems that impact key business outcomes. Lead development of highly complex analytical solutions for major business challenges, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and maintainable while providing deep technical guidance to multiple data scientist teams and senior leadership. Act as a subject matter expert by resolving unique data science issues, evaluating variable factors, and developing novel approaches to provide strategic guidance to stakeholders. Champion innovation by integrating cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, aligning data science initiatives with overall business objectives, and mentoring technical leads to foster a culture of excellence. Collaborate with executive leadership and product management to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and influence product strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive experience in data science, machine learning or optimization models
- Substantial record of leading high-impact, company-wide or industry-shaping technical initiatives
- Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, or a related field
- PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, or related field
- Authorization to work in the US
- Qualified applicant status under Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring and San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
