Job Summary
Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance ETL pipelines and architect data integration solutions that consolidate sources into centralized warehouses. Write and optimize advanced SQL queries and develop complex Python scripts for data processing and automation while mentoring junior engineers on best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data systems meet evolving business needs and compliance standards within the Program and CoTE Analytics team. This role requires a Secret clearance and is located in Melbourne, Florida, with hybrid work options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field with 5 or more years of experience
- Master's degree with 3 or more years of experience
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python for building and optimizing data pipelines
- Extensive experience in data integration, ETL framework design, and data warehousing
- Proven track record of architecting reliable, scalable data solutions in a complex environment
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to obtain or maintain US Government final Secret Clearance
- CompTIA Security+ Certification or Equivalent 8570 Certification
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with modern data streaming and batch processing tools
- Experience with modern data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Prefect)
- Proficiency in leading data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
- Familiarity with cloud data services and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
- Involvement in strategic planning and implementation of enterprise data strategies
- Experience with UI/UX design and development / Graphic Design
