Job Summary
Lead enterprise data governance councils and subcommittees to drive stewardship practices, policy adherence, and alignment across business and technology stakeholders. Facilitate governance discussions and decision-making processes to resolve data challenges, while managing the Data Asset Strategy & Roadmap to reflect asset maturity and support evolving business needs. Ensure data assets remain governance and quality compliant across their lifecycle by defining quality rules, identifying sensitivity conditions, and assessing fitness for purpose. Gather and maintain data glossaries, definitions, and metadata for foundational domains, then lead approaches for data catalogs and quality monitoring using profiling and analysis. Provide consultation to business and analytics partners on data assets and governance, ensuring successful launch, adoption, and training with users.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
- 8+ years of experience in related field
- In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field
- Experience within the healthcare, health insurance, healthcare analytics, or regulated healthcare environment with knowledge of healthcare data domains, privacy requirements, and industry standards
- Professional certifications or training in data governance, data management, analytics, healthcare informatics, project management, or related disciplines
- Authorization to work in the United States
