Job Summary
Principal Cybersecurity Architect at JPMorgan Chase leading senior technical efforts to design, implement, and maintain the firm’s cybersecurity architecture. Drives multi-year roadmaps and scalable secure architecture across heterogeneous environments including public cloud, develops production-ready security solutions and proofs-of-concept, and creates durable architecture patterns to improve security, velocity, and quality. Advises cross-functional teams on technology choices, communicates risk and mitigation options to executives, and aligns security strategies with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Serves as a go-to SME, collaborating with IT, business stakeholders, and external partners to safeguard applications and data, while contributing to technical methods and best practices and guiding product teams as a product owner/manager.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on practical experience with zero-trust cybersecurity architecture
- Expertise in one or more programming languages
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity principles and practices
- Advanced knowledge in network security, identity management, and access management
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development and technical processes with depth in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, AI/ML)
- Experience applying expertise to solve complex architecture problems
- Ability to present and communicate effectively with senior leaders and executives
- Practical cloud-native experience
- Experience leading a product as a product owner or product manager
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage technical teams
